Help us create the Tasmania you want to see in the future.
Impact 100 Tasmania is one of the most exciting and progressive initiatives in Tasmanian Philanthropy of our time.
Philanthropy … the desire to promote the welfare of others, expressed especially by the generous donation of money to good causes.
Private initiatives, for the public good, focusing on quality of life.
Impact100 is a global model of community empowerment and giving established in Cincinnati, United States in 2001, and more recently has been established in several Australian states. The same model is applied universally, its tried and tested.
The impact100 model is simple, become a member of this group by donating $1000 per annum, and the accumulated funds each year from the membership are granted to a single organisation or in some cases where funds accumulated exceed $100 000 per annum, will be split between multiple organisations.
Those who donate $1,000 each have a single vote on how they would like the monies distributed and the project with the most combined votes from the Impact100 Community will receive the grant.

Applications for the 2017 grant round
OPEN on 24th April and Close 22nd May
These annual grants will provide registered charitable organisations with funds that will create significant and measurable impact to the lives of Tasmanians.
Grant recipients from the previous year also provide an update at the Annual Dinner in October / November each year outlining how the money has been spent and the difference that this has made to that particular community group.
The Impact100 concept was designed to remove the traditional barriers to giving and provide an interactive experience to the donor. An experience so compelling, it would forever change lives.
